Discover Mystic Istanbul
Also known as the “Scavenger Hunt”, a great team building event and fantastic opportunity to see and explore the Grand Bazaar, the largest “souk” covered oriental shopping mall in the world, where you will find 4,400 shops under one roof where each trade has its own street. There is a wide selection of leather, jewelry, antiques, copperware, souvenirs, and famous hand-made Turkish carpets displayed in this historical shopping center.
Each participant will be given a map of the Grand Bazaar and another page with the clues to pick up from different shops, leading the participants to the final victory of spotting a treasure within a certain time. Being there, the participants may also pay a visit to a rug and carpet weaving workshop to learn about this art of weaving and try Turkish coffee, tea, or apple tea.
Each team will have 6-8 people and will get a city map, road-book with tasks and necessary information and a pocket money (or vouchers).
Each team is accompanied by our silent marshal.
Rules;
- Follow the instructions in the “road-book” in given order
- Stay together as a team
- Do not ask help from the local marshal
- Always check the deadline given in the road book. Do not be late!!!

Teams will be asked to bargain with local vendors, find their ways and answer questions about the historical/cultural places indicated in the road-book.
At the end of the activity, team leaders will hand the road-book with answers and the photo camera to the head marshal who will calculate the points won.
Results will be announced same evening.
Given cost includes the preparation of the road-book, one local English speaking marshal for each team, map and transportation from/to the hotel.
